R’s throwing literally almost everyone from her discord. Cue the canned laughter.
I’m a moderator in there and all you need to do is say that you exist in #meta if you’ve been lurking. I can’t say that the majority of my servers have done it but pruning isn’t unusual and is usually a pretty decent decision, especially if drama seems to pop up for weird reasons outside of the server itself.
me and a friend who are basically inactive on fr liked reading up on the site/whats news on the server - we both got kicked today before we even noticed any announcement. i dunno if pruning usually happens that fast on other servers.

i don’t really update here anymore because i’m doing most of my ‘free time doodles’ on my tablet as i transit from work to home and i loathe tumblrs app/mobile view.

going to try and do some commentary
1) just trying to figure out the expression
2) actual sketch! less messed up anatomy lol
3) slapping in a big bg so i don’t have to do that later 👌
4) first layer of The Skin & working on the expression. nice mullet
5) refining the hair and starting on the arms
6) butterflies!!! and deciding on final hand positions - wasnt sure where to put the 2nd butterfly so i temp removed it … oh yeah and drew her ‘‘clothes’’7) final face refining, finished getting the main body Shapes™ down and filled in solid. trimmed the boob holder so it doesn’t grasp so much of her armpit…ssss
8) first attempt at the tail. so bad. this was born to die. more leg work.
9) v2 of tail, closer to original work, no cheap hiding feet, much flow, very goood.
10) refining, trying to get the hands dealt with. i wanted to keep this loose and ‘painty’ ie clumsy and rough so just fixed some anatomy things that were buggin me and went in hard on the tail
11) background,,,,,,ssss,,,, final touches. tbh this is super close to 10 but w/e
12) had to adjust the colours to bring it up to the original image, my blendy brush makes colours muddy and grey. also cheated because im a fake artist and sized down that massive noggin. -
